Capturing Supercars: An evening with the Bespoke Car Club

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph two stunning vehicles from the Bespoke Car Club: a 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto and a Ferrari 488, both representing the pinnacle of automotive artistry and engineering.

The Perfect Venue

The Max Bell Centre parking lot in Calgary provided an ideal location for this shoot, with the beautiful city skyline in the background.

Elevating the Perspective

One of the highlights of this shoot was incorporating drone photography to capture these supercars from up above. The aerial shots revealed the design language of both vehicles – you can truly appreciate how the Revuelto's hybrid V12 powerplant influences its dramatic proportions, and how the Ferrari 488's mid-engine layout creates its perfectly balanced silhouette.

Creating Atmosphere with the Tiffen Black Pro Mist

For this shoot, I experimented with a new addition to my kit – the Tiffen Black Pro Mist ¼ filter. This filter proved to be a game-changer for creating that coveted cinematic look that adds drama and atmosphere by reducing contrast in the shadows and adding highlight bloom

The filter really struck the perfect balance – adding enough atmosphere to create haze without compromising the sharp details that make these supercars so visually striking.

Two Icons, One Unforgettable Session

The 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto, with its plug-in hybrid V12 powertrain and futuristic design language, represent the cutting edge of automotive evolution. Every angle revealed new details – my favorite being the stance from the rear ¾ shot I took (see picture above).

The Ferrari 488, while from a previous generation, proved that timeless design never goes out of style. Its classic Ferrari proportions and the distinctive side air intakes create countless opportunities for dynamic compositions. The 488 had just been fitted with some new rims too, adding a beautiful shiny feature that reflected the suns’ gaze like a mirror. The contrast between these two approaches to supercar design made for compelling visual storytelling throughout the shoot.
